ABOUT THE ROLE:


McCann Worldgroup has an exciting opportunity for a 12-month contract role to work on one of our top global accounts, Microsoft, as the Integrated Marketing Coordinator for Microsoft Surface. This role sits in the Integrated Marketing team with a specific focus on Microsoft’s Surface marketing campaigns.


What is this role, and how does it positively impact the business?


As a member of the Integrated Marketing team, this role will focus on the B2B market and collaborate with area and functional team members in ensuring their marketing efforts are properly executed and adhere to the processes defined.


You will support and enable local marketing program execution through centralised marketing services and provide expertise in Events and Integrated Marketing Campaigns. This includes end-to-end planning, execution and tracking program performance. Specifically for Events, you will project manage and operationalize both in-person and virtual events throughout the year. As part of the team, you will play a major role in ensuring the success of integrated marketing, events and driving continual improvement and measurement of future events.


Your core day-to-day responsibilities include:


Deliver Marketing Impact: Executes campaigns and enables last mile efforts with a particular focus on localizations and campaign coordination. This role acts as a subject matter expert and acts as a point of contact for the Surface marketing team to execute their campaigns.


Drive Efficient Localization: This role is responsible for localization support for customer facing assets. This includes the review, validation and light modifications for assets provided by Corporate.


Campaign Coordination & Project Management: Coordinates across functional marketing activities such as Events, Digital, Data and Email. Ensures process adherence and champions the centralized service throughout the process.


Subject Matter Expertise: Acts as local champion on global commercial marketing tools and services. Supports across channels and ensures compliance with the process and privacy regulations.


Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Proven skills in written and verbal communications
  • Basic business, systems, and process analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing communications vehicles, tools, and execution, both online and offline.
  • Ability to articulate and evangelize services with stakeholders
  • Relationship management, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft brand and products


Required Experience:

  • Marketing degree and 2 years of marketing communications, business operations or business consulting experience
