Our Employability Hub project is going strong with new partnerships and enthusiasm! We are thrilled to welcome 55 participants from over 8 countries to our new rounds of ICT and language courses, supporting them build essential digital and language skills. In the past few months, we have also assisted 22 migrants and refugees in creating compelling CVs and supported 32 others in job searching, applying for positions, and understanding their labor rights. Some of our ICT and job-related activities are being delivered directly at the Kofinou Reception Centre, providing applicants for international protection with valuable digital skills and support to access the Cypriot job market. I'm speaking at BTF! I'm thrilled to confirm that I'll be speaking at BTF® by Colorintech. Last year European Network Against Racism Aisbl (ENAR) celebrated its 25th Anniversary Make Racism History Festival by hosting panels at the BTF, the UK and Europe's largest event showcasing underrepresented tech talent and celebrating the diversity within the industry. This year, the event has gotten so big that it will have an Entrepreneur Stage - which I'll be speaking on! I'm looking forward to a panel moderated by Yeni Joseph and accompanied on stage by Deji Olayinka of Communication Workers Union to talk about why Racism is Back in Fashion and what to do about it... Last year they had 5000 attendees, and this year they'll have even more.
