ENTSOG thanks the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union for their invitation to contribute to yesterday’s valuable Working Party on Energy meeting.   Piotr Kus, Kacper Żeromski and Hendrik Pollex, ENTSOG, presented on how the gas #infrastructure is enabling current security of supply in Europe and provided updates from ENTSOG assessments on the next winter season, including on gas #storage. Operational activities via the ReCo System for Gas were outlined, the current developments regarding #LNG and #pipeline projects described, and ENTSOG provided recommendations for ongoing energy security stability.

ENTSOG publishes its second full-scope revision of the Union-wide simulation of gas #supply and #infrastructure disruption scenarios report! ENTSOG, ENTSO-E and ENNOH board members gathered in Brussels for a joint meeting. The gathering allowed for timely exchanges on the possible cooperation areas for the European #infrastructures for #electricity, #hydrogen and #natural gas, based on their regulatory mandates and within EU climate and energy policies.    The discussion prioritised the respective contributions to the EU #competitiveness agenda.

The European Commission has approved the joint scenarios report for the 2024 Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP), a key step towards aligning with the EU’s 2030 energy targets and 2050 climate neutrality objective. 🌍⚡ Some areas will be further developed in the upcoming cycles, including transparency and methodology.
