Yesterday, the Hungarian Presidency held an informal meeting of EU Ministers of Industry and Internal Market in Budapest. Ministers discussed key elements for a New European Competitiveness Deal, a top priority for the Hungarian Presidency. The Antwerp Declaration for a European Industrial Deal was also highlighted as an important foundation. Moreover, a policy debate is planned on the future of European competitiveness, tackling the challenges in the single market, based on the expected Draghi Report.
