What an incredible few days at #SATShow! 🎉 It’s been a fantastic experience for the GSOA team, filled with insightful meetings, engaging roundtable discussions, and thought-provoking panels. It was wonderful connecting with our members and industry peers, sharing ideas and best practices, and strengthening our relationships. 🤝   We hosted the GSOA Board meeting in person and had the opportunity to meet with the new Chief of the Federal Communications Commission's Space Bureau to discuss the Bureau’s work programme. During his keynote at the Awards ceremony, he outlined the FCC’s priority to modernise and simplify the licensing of space operations, reduce regulation and free up more spectrum 📡💡   Thank you to Intelsat, Maureen Stevens & CaSaundra James for providing the meeting room for our Board meeting, and to Rivada Space Networks for sponsoring our VIP Reception at the Cosmos Club - Melanie Dickie, Elif Aybuke N., Katie Schulten, Anna Erhardt. You were fantastic!🍸   It was great to meet so many of our members and kick off the GSOA Marketing Task Force - we’re grateful to ST Engineering iDirect for providing the room! Exciting things ahead as we continue to promote our industry. Watch this space!    A huge thank you to Jeffrey Hill and his amazing team for yet another outstanding event – your dedication truly makes these gatherings special. GSOA was well represented in the #3GPP #6G workshop today in Korea by our Standards Working Group chair Munira Jaffar. 🇰🇷 To fully realise the potential of 6G, the 3GPP community needs to: 🌍 Ensure integration of the satellite component in 6G from the onset to maximise impact and benefits. 🚀 Prioritise NTN in Rel-20 study phase and Rel-21 normative phase on 6G. 🔗 Maximise efforts towards a unified NTN/TN ecosystem.

“Looking Skyward”🚀 – Today, GSOA had the pleasure of moderating a session at #MWC25 on NTNs and the Next Era of Global Connectivity. One key theme taking center stage this week here at #MWC25 is the transformative potential of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), which promise to reshape how we stay connected worldwide. They bridge gaps in coverage, bringing high-speed internet to remote regions, and creating a more inclusive, connected world: 🔹 Enabling seamless connectivity across urban, rural, and even the most isolated locations. 🔹Empowering industries like healthcare, education, agriculture, and logistics with enhanced data and connectivity. 🔹 Unlocking new possibilities for industries from IoT to autonomous vehicles, all with faster, more reliable networks. The integration of NTN & TN will be the backbone of a more inclusive connected world, enabling digital transformation at an unprecedented scale, including to areas that would be otherwise unconnected. 🌍 #satellite4life #satellite #connectivity ##NTN #IoT Isabelle Mauro Natalia V.
