🌍🚀 GSOA Participates in ITU Partner2Connect Panel 🚀🌍 GSOA took part in an important panel in the ITU-ITTLLDC Seminar, discussing the #ITU initiative Partner2Connect (#P2C) and the exciting connectivity and satellite-related opportunities ahead. While the focus was on initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region, we also highlighted the 9 pledges we've made since 2020 at a global level. Our pledges are actively driving initiatives to expand digital connectivity, especially for underserved populations in rural and remote areas. These efforts include: 📚 Capacity Building: Workshops with administrations on disaster management, new technologies, and regulatory challenges. 🌐 Collaboration: Workshops with ITU and regional organizations. 🤝 Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with key stakeholders like GSMA, European Space Agency - ESA, and Rwanda Space Agency. By committing to #P2C, GSOA is leading the satellite industry's efforts to achieve the ITU and its Member States' connectivity goals, bringing meaningful connectivity and bridging economic, gender, and digital divides around the globe. GSOA @ LATAM Conf & 44PCCII 💫An excellent week has come to an end in Mérida, Mexico. GSOA had the pleasure of participating in the 11th Latin America Spectrum Management Conference where we continued exchanging about the opportunities and challenges ahead to continue bridging economic, gender and digital divides in the region. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved and the team of Forum Europe made it a resounding success! 🎉 🛰️📡We also had exceptional work at the 44th meeting of the CITEL PCC-II. Progress was made on several of the satellite-related items on the WRC-27 agenda, and there was also the opportunity to present several information documents on the important contribution that satellites can make to advance digital transformation. Many thanks to the Mexican Administration, the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones and the a CITEL Inter-American Telecommunication Commission Secretariat for organizing such a productive meeting. 👏🤝The team's dedication and collaborative spirit of the GSOA members is truly inspiring. 🚀 💫Ha culminado una excelente semana en Mérida, México. GSOA tuvo el placer de participar en la 11ª Conferencia Latinoamericana de Gestión del Espectro, donde continuamos intercambiando sobre las oportunidades y desafíos que tenemos por delante para seguir cerrando las brechas económica, de género y digital en la region.
