🚗🌡️Heat islands in cities are created through a combination of factors. Understanding these factors, such as the extensive use of cars and the heat-absorbing materials used in urban infrastructure, helps us create cooler and more sustainable cities. 🚶♀️🚴♂️ To combat this, we need to rethink our urban transport strategies. Encouraging walking and cycling by developing comprehensive networks and high-quality street designs can significantly reduce our reliance on cars. 🚇 Enhancing Public Transport: Investing in high-performance public transport networks, such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and rail systems, can provide efficient and comfortable alternatives to car travel. By taking these and other actions, we can reduce the impact of cars on urban heat islands, making our cities more liveable and sustainable for future generations! 🌳🏙️ ▶ Download today’s infographic here https://lnkd.in/eQ2JfaZT #UrbanMobility #SustainableTransport #ElectricMobility
