We have just released a study by Frontier Economics that analyzes hydrogen import options for Germany 🇩🇪, highlighting the competitive edge of electric natural gas (e-NG). Key findings reveal that e-NG is not only cost-effective but also seamlessly integrates with Germany's existing natural gas infrastructure, making it a prime candidate for rapid decarbonization. The study shows that the import costs for e-NG are competitive against alternatives like liquefied hydrogen and ammonia, offering a viable pathway to meet future hydrogen demand. As Germany aims for a 65% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2045, e-NG stands out as at the most pragmatic solution to jumpstart the hydrogen economy. Download the full study (in German) for insights into how e-NG can play a critical role in shaping Germany's energy future 👉 https://lnkd.in/dXvAjFed #GreenHydrogen #eNG #EnergyTransition #Germany #Study #Carbonneutrality
TES
Renewable Energy Power Generation
Democratizing access to reliable and affordable green energy through giga-scale projects.
About us
TES is a global green energy company focused on developing giga-scale projects to produce hydrogen-based e-fuels, such as e-NG (electric natural gas made from green hydrogen and CO2). Based in Europe and operating worldwide, TES utilises renewable energy sources—such as solar, wind, and hydro—combined with climate-neutral CO2 to create e-NG, a drop-in fuel that can replace fossil natural gas. This scalable and cost-effective approach aims to provide reliable and affordable green energy globally. TES seeks to accelerate the adoption of green molecules across various sectors by making them easy to transport and consume, to deliver on real zero targets and win the climate race.

Fantastic to visit our TES project in Wilhelmshaven, Germany where we are co-creating the future of Germany’s and the EU’s energy ecosystem! First the #FSRU, then future import of green #eNG (or synthetic #methane, produced from green hydrogen)! And beyond that, the green energy park with the #greenhydrogen and #CO2 hub. Thanks to our business partners, supporters and fantastic TES team! Stay tuned

e-NG (electric natural gas) paves the way for a faster green transition! Made from green hydrogen and recycled CO2, e-NG is carbon-neutral and identical to natural gas on a molecular level. Through the methanation process, hydrogen and CO2 are combined using a catalyst to produce e-methane, also known as e-NG. The best part? e-NG leverages existing technologies and processes—carbon capture, electrolysis, and methanation—allowing for immediate implementation without the need for new infrastructure from end-users. Swipe right to explore these three technologies and processes! ➡️ #eNG #carboncapture #electrolysis #methanation #Greentransition #Sustainableenergy

We are proud to announce our new partnership with Advantage Partners, Inc. (AP Group) to explore strategic investments to scale electric natural gas (e-NG) production. This collaboration includes potential capital investment by AP Funds into TES e-NG projects, such as the Green Energy Hub in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Together, we’ll advocate for increased awareness and investment in e-NG among AP Funds' investor base, positioning e-NG and its infrastructure, like electrolysers, as critical components of the energy transition. With over 30 years of experience, AP Group is committed to advancing its Renewables and Sustainability strategy, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Together, we aim to mobilize fresh capital to accelerate decarbonization efforts. We’re proud to share that Lei Chen, our Chief Commercial Officer, represented TES at the G20 for a Special Session on Sustainable Fuels, Chemicals, and Materials, hosted by the Brazilian Government, and also co-chaired the workshop on gaseous fuels and derivatives with Roeland Baan, CEO of Topsoe. The transition to a sustainable energy landscape requires scaling renewable fuels, low-carbon alternatives, and e-fuels, particularly in hard-to-abate sectors. While we have the solutions for producing these fuels, decisive action is needed for effective implementation. At TES, we support the Clean Energy Ministerial Action Plan to Accelerate Future Fuels, endorsed by 9 countries (Brazil, Canada, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States) and we emphasize the need for clear, long-term incentives, mandates to strengthen buyer commitment, carbon pricing to level the playing field between fossil and low-emission fuels, and harmonized standards across regions to accelerate market adoption and improve transparency. Through the CEM, we commit to fostering collaboration among governments, industry, and partner organizations to: 🟩 Increase demand for and usage of Future Fuels, through increasing volumetric mandates or blending quotas. 🟩 Develop integrated global supply chains. 🟩 Establish common standards for lifecycle carbon accounting and sustainability. Thank you Gerard Ostheimer and Clean Energy Ministerial for having us. Looking forward to successfully implementing the Future Fuels Action plan! 🔗 To learn more about the CEM Action Plan to Accelerate Future Fuels: https://lnkd.in/d5PzYjyG #TES #SustainableFuels #FutureFuels #CleanEnergy #CEM #G20 #NetZero
