TURN2X is 2-3 years ahead of everyone else in the game. ⏰ Here’s how: The majority of our competitors are just getting started in the space, with many of them still planning and pilot phases. We completed our pilot phase back in 2019. And while most of our competitors are trying to prove that their concept works with a pilot plant... We already inaugurated our first commercial plant in Spain earlier this year. And it’ll be fully operational this fall. Meaning, that by the end of the year, we’ll be producing molecules. We're years ahead, with no signs of slowing down. Full steam ahead! 🚀 #renewableenergy #sustainability #climateaction #rng

Making green energy transportable | Founder TURN2X

We’ve achieved a close to 50/50 split of female and male employees at TURN2X, and we couldn’t be more proud. We started with a 100% male team  (just the three founders) but made it clear early on that this wouldn’t be sustainable for us. The goal to diversify our staff was set very early on, and our first hire was a woman - on purpose. The way we achieved this balance was not simply by setting a quota of hires, but a quota of applicants. Meaning we sought at least 30%+ female applicants. Additionally, we specified to our headhunters that they should seek out female hires because the problem isn’t available talent;  it’s a lack of network access. If you fish in a small pond, you are bound to catch the same kind of fish. We knew we needed to expand our search radius to maximize differentiated talent. Being this intentional about hiring has been worth it every time. I must say, it’s also really important to be this diligent early on. Because it’s much harder to attract diverse folks when you have a big and homogenous team, rather than starting in the way you hope to grow. We believe in the competitive edge a diverse team provides. This milestone is a testament to our commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. By bringing together talented individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives, we are better equipped to innovate and drive the future of renewable energy. Here's to building a more sustainable and equitable world together! #renewableenergy #genderparity #sustainability #innovation #equalityintheworkplace

Our very own Luis Martinez was a panel speaker at the "Green Gas Mobility Summit 24" last week, organized by Gasnam-Neutral Transport. The panel focused on pioneering projects in the production of e-fuels, and it was a pleasure to share the stage with companies leading breakthrough projects in Spain, especially SAF producers. It's inspiring to see so many smart companies working towards decarbonizing Europe at a record pace. Achieving our goals for a greener Europe requires collective effort, and it's encouraging to be reminded that we're not alone on this journey. A key topic discussed was water consumption in e-fuel production, often overlooked in these conversations. 💧 Special thanks to Almudena Martín Cubillo for highlighting this crucial issue. At TURN2X, our modular approach ensures minimal water usage, utilizing tap water or recycling water from biomethane digestate. Our plants consume less than 2% of the standard water consumption of a beef farm! Being mindful of water consumption is essential, particularly in Spain, to avoid competition with agricultural concessions or other industries. Let's continue to innovate and collaborate for a sustainable future! 🌍 #sustainability #efuels #decarbonization #waterconservation #innovation
