Découverte du bel état d’avancement du nouveau couloir sous voies de la gare de Charleroi-Central, lors d’une visite avec mon homologue de la SNCB, Sophie Dutordoir, Paul Magnette, Bourgmestre de la Ville de Charleroi, et Thomas Dermine, Secrétaire d’État pour la Relance et les Investissements stratégiques. Ces travaux, menés conjointement par la SNCB, Infrabel et TUC RAIL, viendront améliorer significativement l’accessibilité de la 🚉 pour les voyageurs !    Pour ce chantier, Infrabel aura investi environ 8,5 millions d’€, des investissements qui viennent s’ajouter à nos contributions de ces dernières années pour transformer, en étroite concertation avec les autorités communales, la 🏙️ -basse de Charleroi. En 2021, nous inaugurions notre bâtiment « Sambre & Rail » (qui héberge 350 👷👷♀️ chargés de superviser les infrastructures ferroviaires de la région, ainsi qu’une salle de commande depuis laquelle est géré le trafic des 🚆). Depuis fin 2018, notre Centre Logistique d’Infrastructure (CLI) de Charleroi accueille près de 300 collègues chargés de l’entretien et de la modernisation de notre réseau 🛤️. Je suis très fier qu’Infrabel puisse contribuer au dynamisme de la Ville de Charleroi, tout en y créant de l’emploi et une belle activité économique 👍

🚆 TYPSA and TUC RAIL collaborate on sustainable mobility in Ireland ! 🚆   TUC RAIL has been chosen by the Typsa - Roughan O'Donovan consortium to participate in the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme in Ireland. Together they were able to win this prestigious project, which is a programme of projects aimed at creating a fully integrated metropolitan rail network in Cork and its suburbs by increasing capacity and frequency. As part of its mission, TUC RAIL will be responsible for simulating the dimensioning of the electrical network, taking into account the (partial) use of battery trains, catenary studies and interfaces with the rolling stock.   Typsa and TUC RAIL are taking advantage of their participation in the InnoTrans exhibition to formalise this collaboration between Typsa and TUC RAIL. This constitutes a fine reference for the promotion of sustainable mobility for the two companies which are once again combining their resources and skills in the railway sector.

InnoTrans is the key event for strengthening links and collaborations within the rail sector 🛤️🚆🇩🇪.   What an honour that Infrabel was able to organise, under the prestigious patronage of Geert Muylle, Belgium's Ambassador to Germany, and with its subsidiary TUC RAIL, a very inspiring meet & greet evening with its suppliers, potential customers and international partners.   During this unique and privileged event, we were able to showcase the technology, knowledge and skills of Belgian businesses, and demonstrate the great potential that the Belgian rail industry and our engineering companies have to offer, well beyond our borders.  No doubt about it, it is by helping each other, exchanging ideas and making intelligent choices together, that we can position the rail sector as a reliable mode of transport that matters 🇧🇪👍!    Thank you Geert Muylle for hosting this wonderful evening at the Belgian Embassy in Berlin.    #InnoTrans2024 #Berlin #Railway #PublicTransport #futureofmobility #transporttechnology #Belgium #Belgiancompanies

🌞✨ Groot nieuws: TUC RAIL zet duurzame stap met zonnepark! 🚄🌿 Het is met enthousiasme dat we het allereerste zonneproject van TUC RAIL delen:   🔍 Scope van het project: We zetten voor rekening van Infrabel een zonnepark van 2.6MWp op, met 3828 panelen van 680Wp. Bijzonder: we gebruiken bi-faciale panelen die niet alleen zonlicht aan de voorzijde opvangen, maar ook profiteren van gereflecteerd licht aan de achterkant, wat ze duurzamer maakt dan traditionele panelen. Het park levert jaarlijks ongeveer 2700 MWh op, wat overeenkomt met het jaarverbruik van 650 gezinswoningen 🏡.   🤝 Contractdetails: Design, Build & Maintain De aannemer moet de configuratie van omvormers en panelen ontwerpen volgens de door TUC RAIL opgelegde richtlijnen. De bouw van het park kost ongeveer €2 miljoen. Onze klant Infrabel krijgt hiervoor subsidies van de federale overheid. Er is een 20-jarig onderhoudsverplichting, waarin de aannemer de performantie van het park moet garanderen. Het onderhoud gebeurt ook op ecologische wijze door middel van schapen 🐑 #Agrivoltaïsme   📅Planning: Start werken februari 2024.
