The impact of vaccination on helping to curb the spread of #AMR has been recently quantified by the World Health Organization. According to their report, increasing the coverage of existing vaccines could prevent up to 106,000 deaths linked to #AMR every year, while developing new vaccines could save an additional 543,000 lives. In this episode of the #VaccineVoices series, Charlie Weller from Wellcome Trust shares some of the evidence of the impact of vaccines on antibiotic use and AMR.
