After months of preparation, the #BelgianEconomicMission to #Delhi and #Mumbai, led by HRH Princess Astrid, has come to a highly successful close.🚀 Here are some highlights from this intense week: ✅ Hundreds of B2B meetings were organized for Brussels companies, some of which have already resulted in contracts or letters of intent. 🤝 Major partnerships sealed during official Signing Ceremonies, including: 🔹 Le Pain Quotidien & Bake & Brew Private Limited signing of a Master Franchise Agreement, with an ambitious plan to open 100 locations in India within 7 years. Congratulations to Annick Van Overstraeten and Martin Dluhos. 🔹 Scabal renewed its 20-year partnership with TSB Overseas, reinforcing its exclusive distribution network for luxury fabrics across India. Thank you to Gregor Thissen for the opportunity to visit their Indian partner The Darzi Group magnificent boutique. 🔹 Yolloh secured a deal with the distributor Cosmo Fine Foods to launch its sweets in 1,000 stores, with a vision to reach 10,000 points of sale within five years. The purpose of the Tech Forum was to highlight innovative companies from both India and Belgium, showcasing their groundbreaking technologies and contributions. The event featured an informative panel discussion focused on key topics such as Generative AI, data sovereignty, and cloud technologies. As a start of the Belgian economic mission, hub.brussels organize a meet and greet event for the delegation, with a cultural visit of the archeological site Qûtb Minar, a famous mosque in Delhi, build century’s ago within an old indu temple. The perfect way to deeply immerse in the unique, diverse and old history of India. And what’s the best way to experience India from the inside that a tuk-tuk ride? We thus organized a famous-to-be tuktuk parade to navigate smoothly through the organized chaos of the Delhi’s traffic. We then finished the day with some general introduction of the mission, followed by some do’s and don’t’s presented by the three regional representatives based in India.
