The Alliance for Clean Air partnership between the World Economic Forum and Clean Air Fund has released "SmogStripes" - an easy-to-read air quality guide. It pulls from data in nearly 300 cities worldwide,  making daily pollution levels visible. 🚛 What’s our goal at 7Gen? To reduce those red and yellow bars, and increase the green ones, by reducing the barriers for fleets to deploy zero emission trucks and buses today. Happy to announce that Daniel Valadares, a pivotal part of Canada’s EV infrastructure revolution this past decade, has joined 7Gen as Senior Manager of EV Infrastructure. With 8 years at Tesla managing and deploying large scale supercharger projects, Daniel will be investing this experience to support the fleets we electrify across North America. Daniel takes pride in paying it forward, by building community, shaping policies, educating stakeholders, and bringing a boundless helper mentality to everything he does. At 7Gen, Daniel exudes our culture of taking ownership and finding a way to get it done in complex environments, and will play a formative role in the future we’re helping shape! When asked about his favorite quote for the season, he shared: "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. It’s about doing more good.” John has been "doing more good" for many years, with an expansive career spanning over two decades at Schneider Electric, in IT, commercial strategy, sales, and operations, to his early life experience as an electrical contractor and small business owner, making John an ideal fit as we build a team to scale fleet electrification. John's unique life experience from the practical to the strategic, combined with the joy he brings to the job, all contribute to inspiring his colleagues and motivating clients to act on electrification efforts.
