This week (January 29) marks the start of the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Snake – and we wish our teammates at the ABC Shanghai Technical Center and those of Chinese heritage around the world an exciting celebration of this Lunar New Year. In Chinese culture, red is the color of good fortune, courage, strength, and prosperity. Each bode well for ABC as we enter 2025 by expanding our presence in Asia later this year with the pending approval of our acquisition of TI Fluid Systems, which has multiple locations in China.

We congratulate the teams behind the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid and 2025 Ford Ranger for being named North American Car and Truck of the Year, respectively, at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show. ABC is proud to have content on each vehicle which spans from Interiors, Exteriors, Flexible Products, HVAC and Powertrain. In fact, of the 9 total vehicles nominated – three per category (including the three for Utility of the Year) – ABC products can be found on 7 of them.
