Rikki Cooper, our National Indigenous Engagement Manager in Australia, recently visited the Indigenous community of Napranum in Far North Queensland to donate gowns, suits, and formal attire collected by our BGIS teams during National Reconciliation and NAIDOC weeks. The students and community members were excited to receive the dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories, which they’ll proudly wear to their school formals and NAIDOC balls.   Given the remote location of these communities, with limited access to retail shops, and the high cost of evening wear, many students face barriers in obtaining formal attire. Rikki expressed her gratitude to the teams who generously donated. "Those who attended the try-on day were thrilled to receive such beautiful outfits for their upcoming events," Rikki said.
