Blackstone currently services Turbomachinery equipment from many OEMs, including: General Electric, Siemens, Alstom, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Toshiba, Rolls Royce, Solar, Nuovo Pignone, Dresser, Burkhardt, Neuman and Esser, Elliot, Sulzer, Flowserve, etc. We will be expanding this year into servicing motor and drive work for legacy Ansaldo, now owned by Nidec. This will include their medium voltage drives and AC motor selection for western Canada.

Blackstone Industrial Services is proud to partner with NOVA Chemicals and all of the contractors involved in the E2 Outage to support the Red Deer Food Bank Society. Together, as One Team, we are positively impacting the communities where we work.
They say when you work together you can move mountains, in our case you can also build them – specifically, ones made out of food! During NOVA Chemicals E2 turnaround teams were busy executing work, and they also made the time to support the Red Deer Food Banks’ call to help fill the empty shelves. Turnaround Leader Marc Wahl rallied our contracting partners to rise to the challenge as part of our site-wide food drive. The results were impressive, NOVA Chemicals Joffre Site donated 5,940 lbs of food! In addition, through their Safety Interactions for each of the turnarounds this summer, workers voted to support the Food Bank and MW was able to donate an additional $6,000. Our turnaround organization in MW has a ‘one-team’ approach, both to work and giving back to the community. Thank you to our partners: Bravo Target Safety, Graham, InfoSignal, Tacten Industrial Inc, Stuart Olson Inc., Melloy Industrial Services Inc., Myshak Group of Companies, DCM Group Inc., CEDA International, Brock Canada, and Blackstone Industrial Services for supporting NOVA’s food drive and our turnaround.
