Back in August, we announced the creation of the Lyall Bell Scholarship for Broker Advancement. Lyall Bell was a true advocate of this organization, a dedicated facilitator with IBAO, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with our very first sponsor, Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario on such an important undertaking. Fast forward to last night at the Graduate Awards ceremony, which kicked off the IBAOCon '24 festivities this week in Toronto. We thank everyone who applied, and after careful review of all applications, we are thrilled to announce that DeMarco Harris is this year's recipient. Please join us in congratulating DeMarco on this well-deserved recognition👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. #cabip #ibao #lyallbellscholarship #brokers #brokeradvancement

We at Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals (CABIP) would like to thank RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) for hosting us in their DEI Lounge at the RIMS Conference earlier this week. Special thanks Cherise Papadopolo who was so instrumental and appreciated 🙏🏾 From the beautiful venue & surrounding vistas (Vancouver waterfront 😍) to the amazing sessions and connections made, we appreciate the opportunity to expand awareness outside of Ontario. We also loved learning a little bit about all the attendees as well as connecting with colleagues working their booths tirelessly. The growth for CABIP beyond Ontario’s borders is limitless… we look forward to what comes next! #cabip #rims #aipa #insuranceindustry #allyship #diversityininsurance #diversityinrisk
