Representatives from Council and administration were busy attending the 2024 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) convention in Vancouver last week. Council and staff advocated for key policy issues affecting the region and engaged with various levels of government. For the City of Prince George, top priorities at the conference included homelessness, housing, and mental health and addictions. A special congratulations to Councillor Cori Ramsay, who was elected First Vice-President of the UBCM executive team! She previously held the position of director at large.
