🚧 Meet Emma: Breaking Barriers in Construction 🚧 As the first female Plant Manager at Colas company The Miller Group, Emma is paving the way for more women in the industry. Leading the East Toronto Concrete Plant, she’s proving that skill, dedication, and passion—not gender—define success in construction. “I feel like I’ve been given more opportunities at Miller (Colas) than anywhere else,” Emma shares. “Being the first female plant manager comes with pressure, but it’s been a success, and I’ve truly enjoyed it. I genuinely believe more women would be pleasantly surprised if they ventured into this industry and saw how satisfying the work can be.” Emma’s leadership is helping drive progress—not just for our company, but for the industry as a whole.
