Ropes, chains, nets, plastic containers, a tire, a football, a rubber duck… The Cooke USA fish health team hit the beaches of Lubec, Maine, on Monday, Sept. 9, as part of the 36th annual Maine Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Maine Department of Marine Resources and Ocean Conservancy and sponsored by 98.9 WCLZ. Thank you to the fish health team (Jessica Lindsay, Susana DeFrank and Jaelyn Matthews) and Joshua MacColl and Craig Drury, who are visiting from Cooke Scotland, for participating in this statewide trash-collection tradition, which runs through Sept. 21. It's not too late to volunteer for one of 20-plus cleanups ranging from Kittery to Lubec (that's 3,478 miles of tidal shoreline). https://lnkd.in/em8w_kHZ
