  • Cornish Metals #PDAC2025 It was busy at the booth (#2545) yesterday. At the Trade Show geologists Jodie and Naomi connected with software providers Datamine and Micromine. Micromine has launched an AI tool and Datamine will launch Studio Geo, which is an implicit modelling tool. Acquire invited both geologists for a demonstration of their database software at their stand. They caught up with Major Drilling, learnt about Potash production in Saskatchewan, visited another stand where they successfully matched drill core to deposit type through hand lens analysis and Dicorp demonstrated the functionality of their drilling equipment. #southcrofty #tin #mining #cornwall

  • Cornish Metals at #PDAC2025 Our geologists Naomi and Jodie joined a brilliant presentation by Micromine and Kinross yesterday on exploring AI in Geology and learnt how AI could be used as a tool in the resource estimation workflow to validate wireframes and block models. After they explored the Trade Show to see for themselves how new technologies are used within the mining industry. They toured Rocklabs Automated Sample Prep Lab using VR, stood inside a cab in a drillrig and were given a demonstration on how to use Leapfrog Evo to generate fast conditional simulation models! #SouthCrofty #tin #mining #cornwall
