Team spirit was on the tarmac on Monday, September 16th as our Edmonton “Hard Hats for Hope” team brought home the gold in #HaulforHope2024 in support of Hope Air at the Edmonton International Airport. Our field and office staff pulled a WestJet Q400 (30,390 kg) a distance of 100 meters, earning golden-glove status for our fundraising efforts. In addition, our Edmonton location raised a total of $17,668. Our combined Dawson Wallace offices raised a total of $25,836 for this fundraising event. 🤜🤛 We are extremely proud of our #HardHatHeroes, including those behind the scenes (friends, families, co-workers, and industry partners) who donated in support of our teams’ efforts. Thank you for your belief in not only us, but the mandate of Hope Air to go the distance in providing medical travel support to families in need. How often can you say you pulled an airplane with your co-workers?! ✈ Incredibly proud of our Calgary + Lethbridge 'Hard Hats for Hope' team who brought home the hardware at today's #HaulForHope2024 in support of Hope Air. Our team took on the challenge of pulling a WestJet Q400 (De Havilland Dash 8-400) for 100m, in the pouring rain no less! With a final donation total of $8,168.00 and a pull time of 19.5 seconds, our Calgary and Lethbridge folks topped the points podium today, and we couldn't be more proud of these Hard Hat Heroes. It's such a privilege to participate in events like the #HaulForHope, and it was truly humbling hearing the stories of the many recipients of Hope Air's services who are on the receiving end of our team's efforts. We embrace opportunities to support the communities around us, and our team is already looking forward to the 2025 event.
