The Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB) has just released its Feedback Statement on the proposed Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standards (CSDS 1 and CSDS 2) and the Criteria for Modification Framework! The CSSB is set to issue Canada's first sustainability standards in December 2024. During the consultation, the CSSB engaged with over 3,900 individuals and 700 organizations across Canada, including ESG Global Advisors Inc.. The Statement highlights the importance of balancing global standards with Canadian-specific needs and furthering the CSSB's commitment to ensuring Indigenous participation by expanding pathways to participate in future consultations.
