I am so proud that we spent 2024, co-creating creative solutions to bring more care to Canadians – including services to over 100 rural communities across the country, and employing more care workers than ever before. Together we are transforming our industry, and reshaping what healthcare can look like in Canada. This year we earned our B Corp certification, doubled our HQ team, maintained our Living Wage certification, and fostered conversations and collaborations with some of the top minds in Canadian healthcare to help make healthcare more accessible. There is so much still to come in 2025! Thanks to our care workers, patients, partners, and everyone else who’s made this possible 💙 – Chenny Xia, CEO and Co-Founder

CEO, Gotcare | Transforming home health

“We were originally tasked to dream up what Gotcare is today for a different project, actually. When it ended up going live and receiving patient referrals, it took the original providers 3 weeks to service the patient. So, we did ourselves instead. Today, we're on the phone with a patient 30 minutes after they're referred, and get them in-home care within 24hrs– even in rural Canada. That contrast was a real reflection of how the status quo was just too heavy, and how we must innovate to keep up.” It was so great to join Katie Bryski, Shelagh Maloney, and Rick Menassa, CPCA on the Digital Health in Canada podcast! The episode was on innovation and disruption in digital health startups. We talked a lot about funding, co-creation, mindful innovation, and optimism as a way to stay afloat ☀️

CEO, Gotcare | Transforming home health

As one of Canada’s top growing companies (thanks The Globe and Mail!), this is what our boardroom talk sounds like going into the new year 👇   Gotcare’s overarching goals will always be – 🏠  Keeping people in their homes for longer, living safely and independently 🏥  Decreasing the demand on the healthcare system, and making it accessible to all Canadians And here’s what we’re prioritizing in 2025 to make that happen – - Upskilling our Care Managers - Making more virtual visits possible for our patients and partner organizations - Hosting a lot more events and learning sessions to connect our incredible community - Making our dashboard and analytics products even more robust and user-friendly - Exploring some new opportunities to prolong patient independence  - Expanding our team. This year, we doubled in size!

  • Big news! Gotcare is officially a B Corp 🌍 Since day one, our mission has been to use business as a force for good. Our patients get a care worker who speaks their language, remembers their coffee preference, and lives right in their communities; much more than just hygiene and medication assistance. We work directly with hospitals and communities to cocreate strategies that improve quality of life and create capacity. As a certified Living Wage employer, our care workers are taken care of too. Thank you so much to all our partners, care workers, and community. This is a huge milestone, and it’s all because of your hard work, compassion, and dedication to helping those who need it! #bcorp B Lab

This week our Coralus team had the opportunity to visit the Gotcare offices in Toronto, where Rechie Valdez, Minister of Small Business, together with MP Julie Dzerowicz, celebrated the Government of Canada’s 2023-2025 $2M investment in Coralus. We’re beyond grateful for all the efforts that enable our community to support women and non-binary entrepreneurs. Thank you also to Mary's Brigadeiro Handcrafted Chocolate and Made with Local for the treats! ✨
