Ionomr Innovations is proud to announce the opening of our new cutting-edge facility in Boston, where we will continue to revolutionize the clean energy landscape. Located in the heart of Boston's thriving innovation community, our 22,000 square-foot Hood Park center will allow us to produce up to 750,000 m2 of PFAS-free ion-exchange materials for fuel cells, hydrogen production, and advanced energy storage providing over 10GW of hydrogen production capacity. Our unique reference design approach enables seamless integration into OEM platforms, paving the way for cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions globally. This expansion not only boosts our manufacturing capacity but also adds 40+ jobs, fostering the next generation of engineers and innovators. Ionomr is pleased to share the latest publication from Siemens Energy on hydrogen transport through an Anion Exchange Membrane (#AEM) #electrolyzer using #Aemion®. Intermittent operation is key to leveraging low-cost renewable electricity to achieve a breakthrough in the cost of #greenhydrogen production, addressing a major challenge faced by legacy alkaline electrolyzers. This work showcases how Ionomr's AEMs can enable a wide operational range for electrolyzers while maintaining hydrogen crossover within design targets. Ionomr looks forward to continued collaboration with Siemens Energy and others to enable abundant, low-cost green hydrogen.
