    OpenAI has been making major moves to try and compete in new markets - this might be their biggest since ChatGPT 👀 With the launch of their new search engine, SearchGPT, they’ll be entering an incredibly competitive market.     How do you set your sellers up for success in the heat of a competitive deal? You provide them a quick ACTION they can take. What’s an action? Lots of curators use talk tracks, and those are great for sellers to use, but actions are TECHNIQUES sellers can leverage during a sales motion. Here are just a few examples: 🗺️ Discovery questions: How many competitors do you consistently track QoQ? 🪤 Trap setting questions: Would tracking end user adoption as an OKR be an important metric to you? How come? 🔀 Redirect statements: Analytics are only one piece of the puzzle. Before you can measure content, you need to ensure you’re creating the right content. ❗️ Objection handling: While it’s true our pricing can be more expensive, would you rather pay more for a tool that actually works or less for one that will fail? 🤝 Testimonial/proof sharing: We’ve recently been selected as a Leader in MQ. How much do you value working with an industry-recognized leader in the space? Start adding actions to your battlecards and see happy sellers. Adoption going up. Life being awesome. ACTION TIME.

    Are your CRM reason codes a mess? Here are five hacks gathered from some of the smartest product marketers I know! 1️⃣ (Re)Create with User Input: Channel your inner product manager! Talk to your sales team. What's working? What's not? What's missing? Their insights are gold. 2️⃣ Define Clearly: Ambiguity is the enemy. Crystal-clear definitions prevent misinterpretation and ensure accurate data. Don't let a vague description lead to a misclick! 3️⃣ Communicate Purpose: Sellers need to know the 'why'. Explain how high-quality reason codes benefit them and the company. Make it personal and impactful. 4️⃣ Establish Accountability: Someone needs to mind the store. Task sales leadership or operations with maintaining reason code quality. Consistency is key! 5️⃣ Enable Deeper Dives: Add a win-loss nomination checkbox. Require sellers to flag a set number of deals for in-depth interviews. This extra layer of insight is priceless. Okay, we’re not just aimlessly complimenting them ‘ooo they’re better than us!’ You should think of strategically complimenting them in the deal… and set traps 🐭 This is a perfect story from Nick Cegelski of how to do it successfully (and it’s what makes him so good at what he does)
