Our Chief Financial Officer, Colin Simpson, was interviewed by Emily Tan on CNBC Asia live from our Investor Day 2024 event. Colin shared how we are raising the bar for our customers, colleagues and shareholders with our new financial targets, recent transactions, Asia growth strategy and innovative approach to GenAI. Watch the full interview here https://cnb.cx/45OUXJm. Video Description: Our most important use of our capital is to invest in our own business because we know it so well and its generating great returns. So that’s why we’re here in Asia, we’re showing people where we’re allocating capital to. Our second most important use for our capital is dividend growth. We’ve got an earnings per share growth target of 10 to 12%. And if we’re paying out 35 to 45% in dividends, you can see a really good dividend trajectory. And then the third item is whether we do M&A or share buybacks and so far, share buybacks have generated $3 billion of value based on the current share price. So that’s been an attractive lever for us. But we’ll continue to look at external opportunities. But we can be incredible disciplined when it comes to external opportunities.

We had the opportunity to attend the 27th annual Milken Institute Global Conference and join thought leaders and health experts from around the globe to discuss the future of health and the potential to drive better outcomes for the aging population. As a proud sponsor of the conference, we are deeply aligned with this year’s theme “Shaping a Shared Future” as we continuously work towards building a better business, to better the world. Our leaders from across our business participated in various ways onsite, including speaking on panels, attending informative sessions, and engaging with fellow attendees about the longevity crisis and opportunities to make an impact. #ManulifeImpact

We believe that strength lies in embracing our differences and fostering a workplace where all our colleagues feel accepted, valued, and included. During #PrideMonth, we’re proud to sponsor Pride Parades in Toronto and Boston, as well as the Halifax Pride Parade in July. We’ll also be dedicating time for colleagues to learn about days of significance, reflect on LGBTQ+ experiences, and to act on ensuring equity and inclusion for all. Join us in celebrating Pride month with our colleagues, customers, and partners. #ManulifePROUD
