Today, Orezone announced an update on the Stage 1 Hard Rock Expansion at its Bomboré #Gold Mine. When the hard rock plant is operational, it's forecasted to increase annual gold production to over 170,000 ounces, an approximate 50% increase from current levels. Of note,  the Company has placed over 50% of all packages including CIL tank platework and 95% of all process equipment. First gold from the hard rock plant is scheduled for Q4-2025! Earlier this month, Orezone's President & CEO, Patrick Downey, visited the newly built community of MV3 in the southern portion of the Bomboré #Gold Project. Today, Orezone released initial drill results from our recently announced multi-year exploration campaign at Bomboré. Hole BBD1314 intersected 1.64g/t Au over 46.00m, from 200m below the life of mine reserve pit. Note that this hole was only the 15th on the project to be drilled below a vertical depth of 300m. The results of this initial drilling have clear implications in terms of significantly extending the life of mine at Bomboré and achieving the Company’s targeted long-term global resource base of 7-10M gold ounces (currently 5.13M). Given this initial success, Orezone plans to add a second drill rig to the ongoing program. Today, Orezone announced it will be initiating a 30,000m discovery focused, multi-year drill program at its Bomboré #gold Mine - commencing in August 2024. To date, Bomboré has been reserve defined over greater than a 14km strike length, with the average depth of drilling to approximately 200m hosting the current stated gold resource of 4.5Moz Measured and Indicated, and 0.6Moz Inferred. Orezone announced its Q2-2024 gold production today of 25,524oz. Patrick Downey, President & CEO stated, "Q2 marked a solid operating quarter and was consistent with our annual plan, despite experiencing regional grid power interruptions earlier in the quarter. As previously guided, Q2 was scheduled to be the lowest grade quarter in 2024 as the result of mine sequencing. With access to the higher-grade oxides in the southern half of the concession now established, Orezone reiterates its 2024 production guidance of 110,000 to 125,000 ounces." Orezone is fully financed for the Phase II hard rock expansion at the Bomboré Gold Mine! Today, Orezone announced a US$105M financing comprised of: - $58 million senior secured term loan with Coris Bank International, a leading West African bank and the Company’s current senior lender. - $47 million non-brokered private placement of 92,743,855 common shares of Orezone at C$0.70 per share with Nioko Resources Corporation. - No gold hedging, offtakes, or cost overrun reserve required by Coris Bank. - The Bomboré mine remains free of any hedging, gold stream or private gold royalty, thereby preserving upside for shareholders.
