We are thrilled to share pictures of the ribbon ceremony at our Mission Campus Redevelopment project for University of the Fraser Valley! This 18,000 SF renovation includes classrooms equipped with progressive technology, faculty and staff offices, lounge areas for the students, group study rooms, community space, as well as a sensory room. The renewed space houses UFV’s School of Education, which includes teacher and early childhood education training. The interior finishes were designed to reflect and integrate Stó:lō culture, and the design teams worked closely with Indigenous artists to capture their vision. Scott is proud to have built the West Village District Energy Centre & Urban Park in Surrey, BC. This 15,600 sq. ft. facility uses renewable natural gas from the Surrey Biofuel Facility to sustainably heat hot water for the surrounding neighborhood. The project, featuring mass timber CLT and glulam components, also includes a new urban park, providing essential greenspace for the community. Lot's of progress is being made on the River District Permanent Energy Center project. This 14,800 sq. ft. build features DFL CLT walls, Glulam columns and beams, and CLT mezzanine and roof panels. Proper bracing and coordination of deliveries are crucial to the success of mass timber builds, and we're proud of the meticulous planning and execution by our team on this one.
