She brings extensive experience from her previous role as CFO of Ducks Unlimited Canada, where she led finance, IT, and a major renovation project. 🍃 Nicholas Johnson, Director, Sustainable Supply Chains 🍃 As SFI’s first-ever Director of Sustainable Supply Chains, Nick is passionate about ensuring that sustainable forestry gets the recognition it deserves. Nick brings a wealth of experience in sustainability-related work and demonstrates a balanced social, economic, and environmental approach to natural resource management. 🌳 Alexandre Mascrier, DC Office Administator 🌳 Alex joins us with over twenty years of experience in administrative support and program management. Day 2 of the International Society of Arboriculture Annual International Conference started with a big celebration for the SFI community! 🎉 We are thrilled to share that two leaders in urban forestry have been recognized by ISA as part of their prestigious Awards of Distinction Program: 🌳Paul Johnson, VP of Urban and Community Forestry and Career Pathways at #SFI, was honored with the ISA Award of Merit. 🌳Sharon Jean Philippe, Professor of Urban Forestry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and 2024 SFI Annual Conference panelist, was awarded the Alex J. Shigo Award for Excellence in Arboricultural Education. These remarkable achievements underscore their dedication to advancing sustainable and urban forestry initiatives. We couldn't be prouder of their contributions and the recognition they received for their hard work and leadership.👏 Congratulations, Paul and Sharon, on the well-deserved honor!
