A huge thank you to our incredible summer interns! Simrin Carlsen and Sahil Jena have made remarkable contributions during their time with SFI, and we’re grateful for their hard work and dedication! Hear what they had to say about their experience: 🌱Simrin Carlsen, Conservation and Public Health Intern: “My internship with SFI has been truly transformative, both professionally and personally. I’m grateful for the freedom to pursue projects that align with my passions, all while receiving incredible support from the conservation team and others across the organization. This experience has not only pushed me to grow but also inspired me to carry forward the SFI spirit of collaboration, innovation, and mission-driven work as I continue my career path.” 🌱Sahil Jena, Data Science Intern: “My summer at SFI was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to apply my data science skills to clean and analyze large, unstructured datasets, ultimately transforming them into a powerful LLM built on a foundation of verified and peer-reviewed sources. Seeing a tangible result at the end of my internship was deeply rewarding. SFI is a great symbol of all the different cultures and backgrounds needed for a bright future in conservation, and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it.” Thank you, Simrin and Sahil, for your impactful contributions to #SFI. 🔗 Interested in joining our team?
