Tuesday was International Day of the Seafarer and to celebrate, our Victoria team went aboard the NCL Sun to thank the crew for the work they do every day. These incredible seafarers are dedicated and passionate about the work they do, and their excitement is infectious. The team feels so lucky to be able to welcome them into the city every week. They often work far from home and loved ones, making significant sacrifices. From our team to all seafarers, thank you for your important work. #DayoftheSeafarer #Thankyou

Pacific Northwest Transportation Services (PNWTS) is celebrating a milestone in their sustainability journey with an impressive 26% reduction of their carbon footprint compared to their 2019 baseline year. This has been achieved through a combination of decreased fuel consumption, reduced refrigerant usage and efforts to minimize their natural gas consumption.    Through these actions, PNWTS has successfully eliminated 228 tonnes of CO2 emissions - that's the equivalent of taking 70 gasoline-powered passenger cars off the road for an entire year! PNWTS also supports The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project to further offset its environmental impact and contribute to global conservation efforts.    PNWTS continues to make strides by switching to renewable diesel for its buses and is exploring zero-emission bus technology. With these efforts we are confident PNWTS can achieve their goal of a 30% carbon footprint reduction by 2026 and a 50% reduction by 2030.   Thank you to everyone who have supported PNWTS on their sustainable journey.
