This survey has been extended until November 10!🚨 We are recruiting participants for a research study titled, “Digital Resilience: Addressing the Rise of Transphobic Online Hate through Community-Based Research.” This research is being conducted by the @Ontario Digital Literacy and Access Network (ODLAN) in collaboration with Wisdom2Action. About the research: The purpose of this research is to better understand how transphobic online hate is being directed at Two Spirit, trans, nonbinary (2STN+) and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ serving organizations in Canada and its impact on 2STN+ staff. Our goal is to uncover professional strategies that organizations are using or developing to deal with the harm caused by transphobic online hate and to develop recommendations for organizations to mitigate and address transphobic online hate. Eligibility Requirements to Participate in the Study: Working at a Canadian organization that serve 2SLGBTQIA+ communities 18+ Identify as Two Spirit, trans, nonbinary, inclusive of gender nonconforming, and/or intersex people (2STN+) Have experienced transphobic online hate in a professional context (not required for survey) To learn more about the interview process or participate in an interview, visit: https://lnkd.in/eiAM23dU To participate in the survey, visit: https://lnkd.in/eFRec4F2 The interviews will run from October 1 to November 1, 2024.
