Ski season is almost here for Sun Peaks Resort Our team captured this great “pre-snow” photo from the drive terminal at the new West Bowl Chairlift. Our team at XenonCyber Dynamics Inc. developed the framework for new microgrid deployment and advanced power systems networking to improve grid resiliency in this extreme location. Thanks to S&C Electric Company (Matthew Plut) for the timely delivery of the new Vista Switchgear for the new West Bowl Chairlift at Sun Peaks Resort. This switchgear is low profile to keep the alpine view stunning and includes many advances in safety, reliability and future microgrid capabilities for operations. XenonCyber is working closely with the teams on site at 2080 meters elevation to implement defensible networking and power systems for this exciting project in an extreme enviornment. Installing a new ski lift requires a huge team across multiple disciplines--Special thanks to everyone involved including Summit Electric, Newport Structures (Garry Simson), Doppelmayr Canada, Northwood, QED Technical Services Inc.
