Experienced Business Analyst required for technology projects within the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) team. The Business Analyst role performs Business Analyst and Test Lead activities as well as some minor project management activities.
This Position Has a Major Focus On
Identifying and documenting business requirements for technology needs identified by the SMR team. SMR is a new initiative for our client. The plan is to develop a digital strategy, which will be used to determine the Technology Roadmap and subsequent projects/initiatives. While the focus will be on strategic requirements (2025 forward), there will also be some tactical projects to be defined and implemented (2024). The Business Analyst will work closely with the SMR project team, Technology & Security (T&S), and other business areas required to plan and deliver the strategy, roadmap and subsequent projects / initiatives.
Desired Certifications
PMP or CAPM. CBAP or other PROSCI certification
Mandatory Experience
Extensive experience in a BA role on large, complex projects through all phases of the project, preference to BA's with a strong IT project background.
University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Experience
Experience working within IT is preferred
Experience in a BA role in the utilities and/or construction businesses
Experience performing some light project management activities
