Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is a day to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. To honour the day, we’re highlighting a Bell Let’s Talk Diversity Fund partner, Kehewin Native Dance Theatre (KNDT). KNDT’s ‘Naskwahamâtowin - Let’s all share in the music’ project combines Make Music Matter’s Healing in Harmony therapy model with Indigenous music, languages, and culture to help address the mental health crisis in their community and other devastating effects of intergenerational trauma.
