🚀 Meet the Artists Behind #ExploringtheUnknown at CERN’s Science Gateway! 🔬 Julius von Bismarck & Benjamin Maus Julius von Bismarck was the first artist-in-residence of Arts at CERN programme in 2012, led by Mónica Bello. He was selected in collaboration with Benjamin Maus to create a piece for the Science Gateway's Art Exhibition. ✨ ‘Round About Four Dimensions’ is a kinetic sculpture representing a “hypercube” or “tesseract,” a four-dimensional shape projected into three dimensions. This endlessly rotating sculpture visualizes the abstract concept of a four-dimensional rotation, challenging our understanding of the Universe's complexities. It reminds us of the boundaries of our understanding and concepts we struggle to wrap our heads around.
