We’ve signed an MOU with DS Dansuk, marking a significant milestone in #SustainableFuel production. ✈️   We're also pleased to announce the commissioning of our new dedicated production line for our Tonsil RNF series at our Pohang site in Korea. This high-performing adsorbent is crucial for HVO / SAF production from used cooking oil, effectively removing contaminants in the pre-treatment process. This new line strengthens our leadership in sustainable fuel solutions and supports the growing demand for HVO / #SAF in the APAC region.    Our partnership with DS Dansuk reinforces our commitment to providing innovative, sustainable solutions for the #RenewableFuel industry and we're proud to contribute to the #EnergyTransition in aviation and transportation. There’s something really powerful about bringing a team together, especially when each colleague’s unique perspective and expertise contribute to a collective energy driven by a shared purpose. This is exactly what we experienced during our recent meeting in Frankfurt, where our HR CoEs and EMEA HR team came together.   We focused on advancing our strategy for 2030, further developing our DE&I roadmap, and completing the final sprint of our HR transformation. We also took time to align on 2025, defining strategic HR initiatives and setting clear priorities to ensure we’re fully prepared for the year ahead.   Connecting with the team over coffee sessions was truly valuable. It helped me better understand the challenges the team can face sometimes and identify ways to enhance our effectiveness. These informal moments are important to me as they strengthen trust, collaboration, and drive more impactful results.   I left Frankfurt energized and confident for 2025. Having already connected with our HR teams in APAC and the Americas earlier this year, this meeting completed a truly global effort. With such a dedicated team pushing boundaries, I’m convinced that our HR initiatives will continue driving cultural transformation and enabling the business to achieve its goals.   HR is a strong partner in driving performance, innovation, and delivering meaningful results, always keeping our #RealPeopleofClariant at the heart of everything we do.

It was inspiring to feel the passion and dedication of our colleagues in Suzano, our largest site in Brazil, which is such a great place as a destination, as an investment and as a place for doing business. The Suzano site stands out as a role model for sustainable industrial operations. In addition to using green electricity, the site generates steam for our reactors from biomethane. I was also impressed by the digitalized operations, the application development and catalyst labs, and the MPP plant, all demonstrating our team’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. A personal highlight was meeting the students from “The Music Won” project, a 15-year partnership between the Clariant Foundation and the Bachiana Foundation. This program has impacted hundreds of children in the Suzano community, with 83 current students and several alumni now playing in professional orchestras. This goes beyond music, creating life-changing opportunities, and I was moved by the childrens’ passion and dedication. A big thank you to our colleagues in Brazil for fostering this culture of engagement, innovation, and sustainability. Meet Katie Benjamin-van der Velde, our Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist who recently competed in the #IronMan World Championship in France. Tackling 3.8 km of open water swimming 🏊♀️, 180 km of cycling 🚵♀️, and a 42 km marathon 🏃♀️, Katie not only pushed her physical limits but also gained valuable lessons she brings to work. 💼 "𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘦𝘺 - 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘐𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬.
