We improve and accelerate the development and integration of scientific knowledge into health care.
Info
The Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care contributes to the optimization of health care, digital innovation, and improved translation of evidence into practice. Our implementation science teaching, research and training aims to accelerate the integration of research findings into health care and embed them in a sustainable way, as well as removing low-value practices from health care. Our digital health teaching, research and training aims to optimize digital innovation in clinics and create digital interventions to improve community health and well-being. Our interdisciplinary team covers a wide range of research fields. Our focus lies on implementation science in health care and nursing, digital and mobile health, digital health interventions, and medical knowledge and decision support. There are a number of research studies headed by IfIS researchers in areas such as infectious diseases, hospital epidemiology, cancer screening, nursing science, family support interventions and multiple sclerosis. We train researchers to apply implementation science in their fields of expertise. In doing so, we support local implementation capacity building. This takes the form of masterclasses and consultation on implementation science projects.

#Krebsforschung #Krebsvorsorge #Darmkrebs #Früherkennung #PublicHealth #ImplementationScience #uzh

➡️ Zum Rückblick: https://lnkd.in/dP9NXsEE 📸 Kick-Off: Olivia Höhener 📸 Open House: Ursina Roffler University of Zurich, ETH Zürich, Mercator Foundation Switzerland, Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care (IfIS), Universitätsspital Zürich, NCCR Automation, ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, Benjamin Sawicki, Aline Wolfensberger, André Ferreira, Helen Koechlin, Farah Grassmayr, Daniel Knuchel, Damien Farine, Sabrina Heuss, Mark Moser, Alice Prchal, Lauren Clack, Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken, Gabriela Hug, Sachit Mahajan, Tiina Stämpfli, Susanne Tönsmann, Stefan Wiederkehr, Jan Seibert, Melanie Brand, Alessandro Rearte, Julienne Karzig, Marina Gagetti, Daniel Böhler, Ursina Roffler

We are looking for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in medicine, engineering, computer, business, and management science to apply for the "Precision Digital Therapeutics Master Class", 12-17 January 2025, in Singapore! You will learn what Precision Digital Therapeutics (PDTx) are, how they are designed, evaluated, implemented, scaled, and reimbursed and how generative AI can make PDTx highly personalized. In this Master Class, clinical experts (medical doctors, nurses, caregivers) with patients bring concrete and pressing problems within the Singaporean Healthcare System to the participants, who then work in groups to build a PDTx prototype in five days. Lectures by national and international experts with a medical, technical, and management background and hands-on coaching sessions leveraging state-of-the-art PDTx and GenAI tools complement this summer school. On the final day, students present their PDTx prototype to the jury of clinical experts, patients, and investors. To this end, participants will develop a PDTx prototype that may generate a business and, with it, societal impact. ➡ More information: https://lnkd.in/eAEZ6Pc2 Tobias Kowatsch and Jacqueline Mair look forward to receiving your applications.
