I just returned from an incredible experience exhibiting at the microTAS conference in Montreal, where over 1300 attendees gathered. The interest in Microqubic's 3D microscope was truly overwhelming! 🔹It was great to reconnect with old friends - some of whom I hadn't seen in over 10 years - and meet pioneers in the field, as well as many new faces from both industry and academia. 🔹So many attendees brought samples to image them on the spot. A common response was: "Wow, I've never seen my chip from this angle before!" 😊 🔹Another highlight was seeing posters and presentations from current Microqubic users, who also stopped by to say hi and share how extensively they’ve been using the microscope. That truly made my day! 👋 A big thank you to the organizers and committee members, especially co-chairs David Juncker and Aaron Wheeler, and my local host and good friend Thomas Gervais, for putting together such an excellent event, and to everyone who stopped by the booth - it was wonderful to meet and chat with you all!

This custom microscopy system is headed to the University of Geneva, designed for Prof. Chan Cao's lab to support their #nanopore research. The team required a specialized solution to precisely align capillaries with their nanopore devices in 3D. I developed an X-Y-Z manipulator and sample holder that integrate seamlessly with Microqubic's microscope, enabling multi-angle imaging of the alignment process. (Note: The video demonstrates the process using a dummy sample and needle. The actual project is far more sophisticated - and truly exciting to see in action!) Imaging a full titer plate from multiple angles? No problem with Microqubic's motorized 3D microscope! ⬇️Check out our collaboration with PHABIOC - their SpecPlate technology is truly remarkable, and filming it was a great experience. Collaborations like this highlight how working together can lead to effective solutions. 🔬Microqubic's microscopes now feature the ability to adjust the vertical position of the sample relative to the tilting axis, enabling even smoother tilted imaging. We can also design custom sample holders for your specific needs, like the titer plate holder used in this example. Check out this mesmerizing video from Mario Nitzsche. Mario built his own imaging setup to film the arrays during spotting, and used Microqubic's microscope to image wells from different angles after the spotting (e.g. the shots where multiple wells tilt).
