We are thrilled about our new partnership with the Vector Control Professional Placement Programme (VCP³), an initiative by Innovation to Impact (i2i) Impact (i2i) and funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The VCP³ program is crafted to provide African researchers with essential product development experience, effectively bridging the gap between research and practical application. Participants will be fully integrated into product development teams, gaining hands-on experience in R&D best practices, business planning, and product life cycle management. This 12-month, fully funded secondment will allow researchers to return to their home institutes with enhanced expertise, bolstering local efforts in combating vector-borne diseases. New research from Malaria No More UK and Oxford Economics Africa shows that cutting #malaria by 90% by 2030 could lead to a $142.7 billion boost in the economies of malaria-endemic countries. The study also suggests a potential $31 billion increase in exports to affected African nations, as well as economic benefits for G7 countries, the US, and the UK.
