Every child has a fundamental right to quality education. But in times of global crisis, the educational needs of marginalized children are often neglected. Our 2024 Education Development laureates — Mark Jordans, Marwa Zahr, and Luke Stannard — represent the team behind ‘Can’t Wait to Learn’, an intervention seeking to close that gap across eight countries. Through digital technology and culturally relevant content, children can learn to read and count at their own pace.
