EU definitely leads in the scale-up of the circular bioeconomy. Especially the large ecosystem we have of open access pilot and demo infrastructures for the bioeconomy Pilots4U by CoPilot. With the important role of the clusters to connect the innovators to the available pilot and demo facilities. Happy to see they join forces as of next Monday in Brussels.

Hendrik Waegeman, Business Operations Manager of our Pilots4U by CoPilot member Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant advocated at the European Parliament to remove constraints to efficiently use our 100+ existing pilot- and demonstration facilities for the bioeconomy in Europe. Bringing more innovation to market will also require a higher budget for high TRL process development. Thanks Hendrik.
