We are proud to be part of the Allianz Group, which has committed one million euros to support recovery efforts following the catastrophic damage caused by #DANA in Spain. This donation will be allocated in two key ways: - €500,000 will be donated directly to the Spanish Red Cross to support immediate relief efforts. - An additional €500,000 will be set aside to match donations from employees and intermediaries to the Red Cross Disaster Response Fund and local organizations dedicated to disaster prevention and long-term resilience. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we stand in solidarity with the impacted communities. Allianz Direct Spain is operating at full capacity to provide support to our customers affected by the floods. 💙
Following the floods that caused catastrophic damage in parts of Spain, Allianz donates up to 1 million euros to local relief and resilience. Our claims adjusters, agents, and brokers are providing on-site support to customers, making both technical and human resources available to enable immediate assistance and support for those affected. Our donation will be allocated in two ways: ➡ 500.000 euros is to be donated to relief efforts to the Spanish Red Cross. ➡ And up to 500.000 euros is to a) match employee and intermediaries’ donations to Red Cross Society’s Disaster Response Fund and b) to donate to local organizations that are focused on disaster prevention and resilience-building programs post-disaster. Together with the entire portfolio, we are also acquiring all distribution agreements and the well-known FRIDAY brand. This strategic move is designed to enhance our footprint in the German Direct P&C insurance market and expand our reach in the French home insurance market, perfectly complementing our recent acquisition of French insurtech Luko.
