📣 Creativity Pioneers Fund – Open Call 2025 📣   The Moleskine Foundation #CreativityPioneersFund drives social change through #creativity. It invests in, connects, and supports cultural and creative organizations. These organizations use bold and unconventional approaches to build a more just, inclusive, and equitable world. The fund works with organizations, donors, and other partners in the creative ecosystem. Together, they mobilize efforts to advance creativity as a force for #socialchange.  ➡️ Who is this for? The Creativity Pioneers Fund supports non-profit organizations that reinforce the critical role of creativity in driving social impact. Organizations whose target audience is youth (17-27 years old) will be prioritized. They will take into high consideration applications coming from organizations focused on inclusivity, supporting minority groups and underserved communities. The Creativity Pioneers Fund welcomes applications from organizations working across the globe.   ➡️ The Application Process Applications will be accepted from 10 March – 7 April. Final award decisions will be announced in July. Agreements finalized and funds disbursed by December 2025.   ➡️ What do they offer? An unrestricted grant of €5,000 to the selected organizations. Together!” 2024 funding program, we’re supporting cultural initiatives that encourage dialogue, reclaim public spaces, and create new ways of understanding our histories and communities. 🔹 Golden Age is bringing theater into prisons in Naples, offering inmates a space for emotional healing, self-expression, and connection - tackling the isolation that leads to some of the highest prison suicide rates in Europe. 🔹 From Private Land to Public Park, initiated by The Wonder Cabinet and Sakiya, is transforming land in the Palestinian Territories into public parks to give communities access to open green spaces. 🔹 The Questions is bridging generational gaps through creative collaboration, sparking conversations that deepen understanding and strengthen connections across generations. 🔹 They Have Already Gone explores how art can help us understand different historical perspectives and spark important conversations, ensuring stories aren’t forgotten and divisions don’t widen. ➝ Find out more about our funding projects here: https://lnkd.in/dK9kUs9e

📢 The Media Forward Fund second call is now open! 📢 Up to 400.000€ in funding is available for public-interest #media organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Meet our 2024 #Climate Justice grantees 🌍 The climate crisis is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Through our “Fixing What’s Broken. Together!” funding program, we’re supporting initiatives that tackle environmental challenges by holding corporations accountable, making climate data accessible, and promoting sustainable alternatives. 🔹 ClientEarth is taking legal action to challenge corporate negligence in plastic pollution, pushing for real accountability. 🔹 FragDenStaat runs the Climate Helpdesk, ensuring open access to climate data as a catalyst for informed and impactful climate action. 🔹ARCH+ is rethinking architecture and advocating for renovation over demolition to reduce CO2 emissions in the construction sector. Zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen leisten essenzielle Arbeit – oft unbequem, aber immer im Sinne des Gemeinwohls. Damit sie auch in Zukunft wirksam agieren können, brauchen sie verlässliche Rahmenbedingungen und überparteiliche Unterstützung statt Anfeindungen und pauschalem Misstrauen. 🛠 Zwischenbilanz Werkstatt der Mutigen: Was lokal wirkt, wächst bundesweit! Demokratie beginnt vor Ort – in unseren Gemeinden und Städten. Das Format Werkstatt der Mutigen zeigt, wie erfolgreiche Lösungen aus den Regionen bundesweit wirksam werden können. Seit dem Auftakt in Berlin Ende Januar haben bereits 25 regionale Werkstätten stattgefunden. Hier kommen vor Ort aktive Gestalter:innen mit Kandidierenden und Abgeordneten des Bundestags zusammen – mit einem klaren Ziel: überparteilich zusammenarbeiten und bewährte Lösungen bundesweit umsetzen. 📝 In unserem Blog-Artikel ziehen wir Zwischenbilanz – und geben Einblicke in die Werkstätten der Mutigen im brandenburgischen #Wandlitz und im thüringischen #Themar. Als Ehrenamtlerin ausgezeichnet! 🥇🎉 "Jeder siebte junge Mensch in Deutschland engagiert sich bereits heute aktiv für eine bessere Zukunft. Das macht Mut!" ~ Allianz Foundation. Im November wurden junge Menschen mit dem Movers of Tomorrow Award ausgezeichnet und ich hatte die Ehre unter den Top10 in Deutschland ausgewählt zu werden und diesen Preis in Berlin entgegen zu nehmen. Seit 5 ½ Jahren biete ich ehrenamtlich Filmproduktionen an der Städt. Maria-Montessori-Gesamtschule Meerbusch an und erarbeite mit jungen Menschen gemeinsam gesellschaftlich relevante Themen mit dem Ziel diese durch Filmproduktionen in die Welt zu tragen. Wir beschäftigen uns mit Mobbing, häuslichen Problemen und Gleichberechtigung. Denn in unserer Gesellschaft sollte jede Stimme zählen. Auch die Stimmen aller Kinder. Ich bin sehr stolz auf die Arbeit und Projekte die in den letzten Jahren entstanden sind. Ganz aktuell unser Spielfilm "Die Suche nach Zuhause" von Blüming Pictures GmbH über häusliche Gewalt an Kindern in Kooperation mit der Städt. Maria-Montessori-Gesamtschule Meerbusch. Über 50 Schüler*innen ab der 5.Klasse bis hin zur Oberstufe haben an dem 65min langen Spielfilm mitgewirkt und setzen sich weiterhin für eine gerechte Gesellschaft und ein gutes Miteinander ein. Auch in Zukunft möchte ich weiterhin einen Raum schaffen, in dem Gedanken und Meinungen frei geäußert werden dürfen, jeder gerecht und gleich behandelt wird und wir alle gemeinsam versuchen die Welt ein kleines bisschen besser zu machen. Auf uns alle! Auf alle Menschen da draußen, die Tag für Tag für das Gute einstehen, sich für eine bessere Zukunft einsetzen und in ihrem Umfeld etwas bewirken. Lasst uns eine Stimme für diejenigen sein, die aktuell noch nicht die Kraft haben. Und somit auch noch einmal herzlichen Glückwunsch an die anderen Preisträger*innen und Organisator*innen für das erfolgreiche Event. Vielen Dank an die Fotos Leander von Thien und Milan Liegmann :)
