Since fall 2024, Alexander Lay is studying mechanical engineering at Caterpillar Energy Solutions, alternating between academic phases at university and hands-on experience at the company. 📚🔧 The 19-year-old applied for the integrated degree program after his internship. In an interview, Lay talks about his first work experiences and gives advice to high school graduates, who think about applying for an integrated study program or apprenticeship at Caterpillar Energy Solutions:

Once again this year, the employees of Caterpillar Energy Solutions in Mannheim, Germany, and of two MWM Service-Centers launched the “Wish Tree” campaign. 🎄 The campaign collected gifts to fulfill the Christmas wishes of children from the St. Josef Children's Home and the Schiffer Children's Home in Mannheim. On December 11, the two Caterpillar Energy Solutions trainees Marco Weber and Iven Keller made their way to the children's homes to hand over the presents so that they would reach the children in time for Christmas.
