She investigates errors in biomedical papers and discusses the high cost of scientific misconduct, as well as the increasing threats posed by AI-driven fraud and paper mills in academia. 🌐 Brandon Stell is the co-founder of The PubPeer Foundation, a widely used online platform for post publication review and legitimate discussion of published scientific data. He highlights the need for continuous quality control to catch errors and fraud, strengthening the scientific knowledge base. Dr. Darla Nickel, damals Leiterin der Berliner Regenwasseragentur, erklärt uns im #ALBERTJournal wie die Grün Berlin GmbH und die Berliner Wasserbetriebe sechs mehrere Hundert Quadratmeter große unterirdische Rigolen installiert haben, die große Mengen Wasser zwischenspeichern und langsam versickern lassen können. 🏅 Emily Ricotta was selected as a finalist for the 2024 Early Career #EinsteinFoundationAward with her project "Global Infectious Disease Data Standard (GIDS) for epidemic settings - to revolutionize outbreak response and improve global health outcomes". 🧫 She has been working on improving methodological rigor and improving the validity of clinical studies on infectious diseases for many years.
