🩸 Could a simple blood test revolutionise cancer screening? Blood-Based Cancer Screening (BBCS) offers a less invasive, more accessible way to detect multiple cancers early. Our BBCS Think Tank is gathering insights from across our pan-European healthcare innovation network to understand what is necessary for fast and successful implementation of BBCS into screening programmes. The EIT Health Think Tank is tackling this challenge by: 🔎 Assessing feasibility – Can BBCS be integrated into existing screening programmes? 📊 Defining evidence needs – What clinical, regulatory & economic data are required? 🛠 Planning implementation – What infrastructure & care pathways must adapt? 📣 Driving adoption – How can we build public trust & awareness? 🌍 The goal?
