🌍🚀 I am thrilled to announce that yesterday I had the privilege to introduce and represent encoord as a new member of the Forschungsgesellschaft Energie e.V. (FGE) of the IAEW at RWTH Aachen University during the annual general assembly meeting. This gathering included key stakeholders from the German Energy Industry, marking an important milestone for encoord. Reflecting on my journey, I left Aachen 13 years ago as a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, and yesterday I returned to the rooftop of RWTH Aachen University's Hauptgebäude, proudly representing encoord as one of the key energy modeling software companies in the industry. This brings back cherished memories from 2009, when I had the honor to meet the King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Armin Laschet, Chancellor Candidate of CDU Deutschlands in 2021, and the former Rector of RWTH Aachen University, Professor Ernst Schmachtenberg, all in the Hauptgebäude of RWTH Aachen University. Reflecting on the last ten years, SAInt has evolved from a PhD thesis project to the world's most advanced integrated energy network planning software. This tool combines high-fidelity electromagnetic transient simulations with traditional methods to address the complex challenges of modern power grids. The tool is planned to launch by 2025. This guidebook helps utilities integrate practical planning processes to deliver clean, affordable, and reliable energy. During the first Integrated System Planning Forum meeting, we ran a poll that captured how people are thinking about integrated planning. The pictured word cloud shows the words that appeared the most. We are also looking for more input! You can help us by: 🗣️Recommending yourself or other interviewees.
