In the summer of 2024, at just four years old, Mika was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. At the Helios Kliniken GmbH in Schwerin, he receives cutting-edge chemotherapy tailored to his young age. Although he has a 90 percent chance of being cured, the treatment is an enormous burden for the boy and his family - both physically and mentally. That’s why the family also receives psychological support at the clinic. Thanks to his background in Business Informatics and lots of experience in IT consulting and financial services, Edward brings a resourceful perspective to the team.
