Meet Nicolas Guichard, Senior Scientist at our R&D Center for biosimilars in Switzerland. When asked about his morning routine, Nicolas does not hesitate: "I usually start my day with a quick check in the lab to ensure everything is running smoothly – oh, and with a double espresso, of course. The coffee machine corner is basically our team’s secret to good vibes!" In the lab, Nicolas works on developing analytical methods to ensure the highest quality for our biosimilar products. “Our job is to make sure the molecules we develop meet the right quality standards. It's all about excellence, from method development to supporting the process development team.” What makes working at Fresenius Kabi truly special for Nicolas is the diversity of his role: “At Fresenius Kabi, I get the chance to take on responsibilities that go beyond the typical scope of an analytical scientist. I have the freedom to contribute creatively and think outside the box. It’s incredibly rewarding.” When it comes to challenges, Nicolas embraces them with enthusiasm: “I’m a solution-oriented person. I like to be pushed to excellence and to innovate in order to solve the challenges we face. Another important step in plasma collection: The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted 510(k) clearance to our Adaptive Nomogram, an alternate algorithm designed to optimize plasma collection efficiency with Aurora Xi Plasmapheresis System. This clearance enhances the capability of our Aurora Xi Plasmapheresis System, increasing plasma collection by an average of 11.6% per donation, while maintaining safety and effectiveness.
