🚀 Exciting Portfolio News! 🎉 We are proud to share that Phlair, one of our portfolio companies, has successfully raised €14.5M in seed funding! The round was led by Extantia, with participation from Planet A Ventures and Verve Ventures, and a €2.5M grant from the EIC accelerator program European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). 🌍 Phlair is revolutionizing carbon removal with its Hydrolyzer-based Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology enabling scalable and low-cost CO2 capture from ambient air. 🌟 The newly secured funding will enable Phlair to deploy its two FOAK DAC plants, Electra 01 and Electra 02, next year. It also sets the foundation for their ground breaking Project Dawn, a commercial plant aiming to capture over 20,000 tCO2/year by 2026.
